Monsieur RYAN RIOT à accordé une interview au blog TOUCHEZFRANCAIS...

DJ/Producteur de 27 ans il nous laisse en découvrir un peu plus sur lui et sa musique.

Bonjour, tout d'abord peux tu te présenter ?

Hey, je suis Rainer ou Ryan Riot, un Dj/producteur de 27 ans venant de Zurich en Suisse. 

Quand je ne suis pas entrain de faire du son derrière les platines, tu me trouveras entrain de travailler pour le magazine de musique suisse RCKSTR (www.rockstar.ch).

Explique nous un peu ton parcours ?

Cela a commencé avec "Noise Rock Band - the Borderline Personality", mais ça ne c'est pas très bien passé, surtout parce que nous étions mauvais. Ensuite j'ai était Dj aux "Indie Parties". De retour en 2007, l'ensemble du mouvement new rave m'a amené vers la musique électronique. Depuis 2009, je suis résident aux infâmes "Discodust Party" (soirées) ici à Zurich, et mensuellement des soirées comme "Punks Jump Up", "Moonlight Matters" ou "Fare Soldi".

Qu'est ce qui t'as donner envie de faire de la musique ?

Je voulais jouer les morceaux, de façon à ce qu'ils sonnent exactement comme j'avais envie qu'ils sonnent.

As tu un modèle musical, une idole, ou tout simplement quelqu'un qui t'inspires ou qui t'as inspiré ?

Yuksek ! Et beaucoup d'autres, qui ont construit un pont entre le "Indie" et l'électro comme The Magician, Rex The Dog... trop de noms. 

Un son que tu aimes particulièrement ?

J'aime beaucoup l'Indie-Dance avec une touche de Disco. Il y a peu de chansons, qui trouvent une place dans mes sets.

Un son que tu ne peux pas supporter ?

Il n'y a pas de son spécifique que je peux dire, la, maintenant. L'ensemble de "Future Techno" n'est pas ma tasse de thé ; la musique est très sombre et mélancolique.

 Oh, et tout de Nickleback.

Parle nous un peu de ton actualités du moment ?

Un remix est en préparation. Et je vais aller en studio avec Timo de "We Love Machines"

J'espere une sortie pour cet automne.

Hello, first can you introduce yourself ?

Hey, i’m Rainer or Ryan Riot, a 27 year old producer/DJ from Zurich, Switzerland. If i’m not making noise behind the decks, you'll find me working for the swiss music magazine RCKSTR (www.rockstar.ch)

Can you explain your career ?

It started with the Noise Rock Band «The Borderline Personality», but that didn’t go very well, mostly because we were kinda shitty. Afterwards I started DJing at Indie Parties. Back in 2007, the whole new rave movement brought me to electronical music. Since 2009 i’m resident at the infamous Discodust party here in Zurich, a monthly party night with acts like Punks Jump Up, Moonlight Matters or Fare Soldi.

What happened to you for to feel like making music ? 

I wanted to play tracks, which sound exactly how I wanted them to sound like.  

Do you have a model ? an idol ? or only someone who inspires you ?

Yuksek! And a lot of other acts, which have build a bridge between the indie and the electro scene like The Magician, Rex The Dog…too many to name.

What is your favorite song ? ou what is the sound that you preferes ? 

I’m digging heavy-ARP Indie-Dance with a Disco touch. There are a few songs, which always find a place in my sets. At the moment i really like these;

Which song you don't like ? 

There is not a specific song I could mention right now. The whole Future Techno isn’t really my cup of tea. The music is very dark and melancholic. Oh, and everything of Nickleback.

Can you talk to us about your actuality ?

A bootleg remix is in the pipeline. And i’ll go to the studio with Timo from We Love Machines ( http://soundcloud.com/welovemachines ) very soon to get my 2nd EP done. I hope for a release somewhen this fall. And there will be a colaboration with my friends of Mannequine (http://soundcloud.com/mannequine )
